Why work with a startup?

Startups need specific skills they cannot afford to hire full time. The work you do for them is real work in your chosen field.

On a small team, your specific contribution actually ships. This carries far more weight than standard internship tasks.

Each finished project leaves a record you can show to future employers, including the agreement, the deliverables, and the founder as a direct reference.

How milestone contracts protect you

Every project is a signed agreement split into clear deliverables. Each piece has its own price and due date.

The startup funds the entire project before you even begin. You get paid as soon as each deliverable is approved, meaning you are never more than one step away from your money.

If a founder goes quiet, an automatic 14-day clock approves your submitted work so you still get paid.

If something goes wrong

You can raise an issue directly from the project page. The project pauses until the issue is settled. We read every report and work with both sides to resolve it.

Your campus office can also step in to help. Nobody has to sort out a dispute alone.

Common questions

Can I do this alongside classes?

That is the point. Projects are sized in hours and weeks, and you pick the load.

Who sees my profile?

People on your campus who are signed in. Never the open internet.

What if the founder disappears?

The money was funded before you started. Submitted work is approved automatically after 14 days if nobody responds.

Can I get course credit?

Only if a faculty member chooses to sponsor the project, and then it carries no payment.
